Picking up after my four kids and my husband is a full time job in itself. I can walk through the house and pick up socks, shoes, crumbs and toys only to get it all picked up to find (dun, dun, dun) another mess waiting for me. We have purged a lot of our excess over the past couple of years trying to live with less but that doesn’t stop the messes that happen. I’m going to pick on my husband Mike for a minute – he is the ultimate paper towel waster! Whenever he is in the kitchen I find used wadded up paper towels littering the kitchen counters. He is also a shoe hoarder who is always wearing a new pair and they rarely make it back to his closet without me piling them up first. The bottom line is that I am always trying to come up with ways to keep things organized around our house because nobody likes to clean up after themselves and I am sick of being the maid!
While I like to keep things organized in baskets and bins my kids could care less about them. Give them a locker to store things in and they will run home from school excited to hang their book bags in it and excited to stuff anything and everything (maybe even themselves) inside of it.
We have some Gator fans around here so we are supporting our team with PrimeTime™ Lockers. (Don’t like the Gators? Shame on you but PrimeTime Lockers also has lockers available in 15 collegiate themes with more to come!) We have our locker set up near the back door with the kids’ coat hooks and all of our Gator gear is soon going to have a home there. Not only is the locker fun and functional but it lets us show our team spirit!
