Poofy Cheeks: Team Spirit Locker Storage

Team Spirit Locker Storage

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gladiator® GarageWorks for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Picking up after my four kids and my husband is a full time job in itself. I can walk through the house and pick up socks, shoes, crumbs and toys only to get it all picked up to find (dun, dun, dun) another mess waiting for me. We have purged a lot of our excess over the past couple of years trying to live with less but that doesn't stop the messes that happen. I'm going to pick on my husband Mike for a minute - he is the ultimate paper towel waster! Whenever he is in the kitchen I find used wadded up paper towels littering the kitchen counters. He is also a shoe hoarder who is always wearing a new pair and they rarely make it back to his closet without me piling them up first. The bottom line is that I am always trying to come up with ways to keep things organized around our house because nobody likes to clean up after themselves and I am sick of being the maid!

While I like to keep things organized in baskets and bins my kids could care less about them. Give them a locker to store things in and they will run home from school excited to hang their book bags in it and excited to stuff anything and everything (maybe even themselves) inside of it.

We have some Gator fans around here so we are supporting our team with PrimeTime™ Lockers. (Don't like the Gators? Shame on you but PrimeTime Lockers also has lockers available in 15 collegiate themes with more to come!) We have our locker set up near the back door with the kids' coat hooks and all of our Gator gear is soon going to have a home there. Not only is the locker fun and functional but it lets us show our team spirit!

When the locker arrived I was surprised at just how tall it is. In the box it was taller than my husband who is 6' 3" tall. Since I pick up after my husband a lot I let him take the locker out of the box and put the three digit combination lock on. It took him less than five minutes. The locker is six feet tall made of welded steel.
While I had planned for the locker to hold Wyatt and Mason's book bags and jackets he kept rattling off what he was going to do with it! All I could think to myself was let's use it as shoe storage and whenever I find a pair around I'll shove them in there until you have none left in your closet. It would be like a movie when he opens it up and all the shoes fall out on him!
