North Pole Brunch Planning

Christmas is my favorite holiday and I love making it magical for my children each year. For the past three years we have had a North Pole brunch the weekend after Thanksgiving for my kids and niece. The brunch is all about the kids with games, themed foods and North Pole decorations. At the brunch my kids’ behavior elf makes his first visit of the year and they write their letters to Santa Claus. Each year I look for new ways to make the brunch fun for the kids and this year I am so excited for the Northpole brought to you by Hallmark line to hit the shelves at Walmart November 1st!

At this year’s North Pole party the kids will get their first chance to use the North Pole Communicator, receive their Find Me, Santa! Snowflake and we will get to read the book Once Upon a North Pole Christmas from the new Hallmark line (on top of all of the other fun things we do at the party). In past years we have had ‘fake’ snowball fights, frosted cookies, made toilet paper snowmen and sipped on hot cocoa.

We are moving this week and I know this entire month is going to be super hectic so I have plans to create a few printable games but I am going to be buying most of the decorations this time around rather than going the DIY route. The Northpole brought to you by Hallmark line has lots of cute stationary, plates, coasters and even ‘Snow in an Instant’ which my Florida kids would go crazy over!

Here is a sneak peek at the printables I will be using this year (and sharing with all of you soon!)

This is when the kids made each other into Snowmen using toilet paper, paper buttons, scarves and snowmen hats.

Our first North Pole party three years ago when we had a paper ‘snowball’ fight with wadded up wrapping paper. The kids had so much fun with this you would have thought it was a real snowball fight!

I am so happy with this tradition we have created and since Emmett isn’t even one year old yet it looks like we will be doing it for years and years to come!
