Simple Spring Easter Burlap Wreath

I think Spring might finally be making its appearance here in Florida! It was in the 70s over the weekend and the forecast says it will be a high of 60-70 all week long! Yesterday’s weather put me in the mood to whip up this Spring Easter wreath with a pop of color and a bit of gold.

To make this wreath I first made a simple burlap wreath by looping a long strip of burlap from Michaels through a wire wreath form. Then I attached the wooden fence detail and faux speckled eggs with hot glue. For the middle piece I used a piece of wood from Michael’s wood crafting isle and decoupaged on the butterfly print paper. I attached it with ribbon and hot glue then added gold vinyl lettering for the final touch. It is now hanging on our front door ready to greet our guests.

I picked up my first bag of Easter chocolates the other day and I am ready for Spring!! There is something about the colors of Spring that gets me all excited and in the mood to craft!
