Halloween Krispie Cake

One thing I have been craving through this pregnancy are rice krispie treats! I even woke up one morning and had a batch of them made by 8am. They have cereal in them so they must be healthy… right? I have had a constant supply of rice krispie cereal and marshmallows on hand, so when I saw the idea for a krispie cake here on Pinterest I knew I had to try it! I think the fact that it was made in a bundt pan and I had a brand new which I was itching to use for something was also a tempting factor! Halloween Rice Krispie Bundt Pan Cake I put sprinkles and orange nerd candies in the bottom of the bundt pan and then I made the krispie treats according to the directions on the box (6 cups of krispies, 1 bag of marshmallows, and 3 tablespoons of butter). Before I added the cereal into the melted butter and marshmallow mixture I also added green food coloring to make them extra festive. I just spooned the krispies into the bundt pan and pressed down gently. Halloween Rice Krispie Bundt Pan Cake I wasn’t sure exactly how long to let them sit, so I waited about 10 minutes before flipping the krispie cake out onto a plate. 10 minutes was perfect because they weren’t completely hardened into the bundt pan but they were also not gooey and runny.
