Washi Tape Bow

Where do you find inspiration? I seem to find it everywhere. Yesterday I found inspiration through Facebook. I follow Le Box Boutique on facebook and they have an *AWESOME* ETSY shop which I have made several purchases from. Each week they have a trivia challenge for their fans and give them a chance to win some goodies (so you should go join the fun!!). I happened to read that nobody had entered this weeks challenge and so I was inspired to get creative! The challenge was to create a washi tape bow on a box.

I gathered some mini gable boxes, my washi tape from Le Box Boutique, and a Poofy Cheeks tag.

First I wrapped the box in washi tape – then I cut strips of different washi tapes and folded them in half.


I grabbed my glue gun and got to work attaching the folded washi tape pieces into a dimensional bow.





With graduation season upon us, it will make the perfect little package for some homemade cookies and a gift card!
