What I Wore & Ate –Florida Thanksgiving Style

It was a warm 75 degrees for Thanksgiving here in the ole’ Sunshine State.

Yep – you better believe I was wearing a tank top and was totally comfortable. Sorry to all my cold weather friends! I truly wish I could come visit you!!

Here I am with my sister – she just turned 20 and is all about style and makeup as you can see HERE. She is super brave too – I am too big of a wimp to try red lipstick! Excuse the closed eye look as we were facing right into the sun!

Here is what I was wearing -

  • Tank Top – Express from TJ Max – $12
  • Jeans – TJ Max – $19.99
  • Necklace – Poofy Cheeks – $6
  • Watch – Fossil

Here is what we ate on Thanksgiving! Some of my momma’s yummy food! Picture of my dads plate – I don’t think he could have fit anymore food!

Playing with Reindeer Names

Now that Thanksgiving is over I can officially feel okay about decorating and posting Christmas themed crafts! It just didn’t seem right to subject anyone to too many of my Christmas crafts in early November!

I’m so excited about Christmas this year. Both of the boys are old enough to ask for things they want, get super excited when they see Santa, and they are filled with Christmas cheer! However they are still not old enough to understand or care when I threaten them with ‘Santa is watching!’ LOL

I made a similar set of canvases for Halloween and they were so super easy that I have had this canvas planned since!

To make your own you will need:

  • A canvas
  • Vinyl Letters
  • Spray paint

Apply the vinyl letters to the canvas and then spray paint over the top. When the spray paint has dried remove the letters for a fun piece of holiday art!!

Leftover Turkey Recipes–Pinterest Style

My mom is hosting Thanksgiving this year (I can’t wait for Turkey time!!)– but if I know her she will send some leftover Turkey home with us. If not – I have a turkey in the freezer!

Since leftover turkey sometimes sits in our fridge and goes untouched (because we are kind of leftover snobs around here) – I decided to search for ways to eat the turkey goodness during the days following Thanksgiving. What a better place to find ideas than Pinterest?
