My Husband’s Peirogies

I mentioned a few weeks ago that my husband is a mean machine when it comes to making breakfast. What I didn’t mention was his knack for doctoring up frozen Peirogies!

Every few weeks I pick up some of Mrs. T’s Four Cheese Peirogies from the frozen food isle of the grocery store. I keep them in my freezer for a night when I don’t feel up to cooking. Then when that night comes – I let Mike know he has dinner duty!

Maybe you have had these before – but I bet you haven’t had them the way we eat them! Mike sautés them to perfection!

Ingredients:

  • Box of Mrs. T’s Pierogies
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 Onion thinly sliced
  • Garlic Powder
  • Everglade’s Seasoning
  • Sour Cream (optional for dipping)

Mike adds the butter to our skillet and adds the onions. Sauté the onion until tender. Then add the frozen peirogies. As they are sautéing sprinkle on the seasonings – flipping them often. When the peirogies are golden brown and look delicious remove them to a plate with paper towels. Then EAT!

This is so easy that your husband or significant other can do it too! If my husband can do this – anyone can. Just sayin’
