Very rarely do I ask for advice – but I’ve been running on less than my needed eight hours of sleep lately. I’m exhausted
desperate!I have two things I need advice/suggestions on. Both of them have to do with my boys and their sleeping habits.
Wyatt my oldest is almost 3 1/2 years old and still sleeping in bed with us. From the day we brought him home from the hospital he slept in our bed. It was mostly my fault, but when I was breast feeding he woke up so many times during the night. Now it has become sort of a comfort thing for Mike and I to have in the bed with us. Now he is getting bigger and our bed is not. I often wake up with a sliver of the bed. April 1st Mike goes back to day shift and we are going to start getting Wyatt to sleep in his bed. Any tips, tricks, advice?
On the other hand, Mason who is going to be two in July. A few days ago he learned how to crawl out of his crib – even with the mattress on the lowest setting. He was still going to sleep, but when he woke up no matter how early ne would crawl out and come running to our room. Now he won’t even go to sleep – he crawls out as soon as you try to put him in there. Last night I had to put him in bed with Wyatt and I, and then I moved him to his own bed a few hours later when he was in a deep sleep. So – do I get him a toddler bed now? How do I make him actually sleep in it?
Oh the questions! I’m an eight hours of sleep kind of gal and the last few days have been painful! Any help would be much appreciated.
