Tie Dye Cupcakes!

So I actually made these for Valentine’s Day – and okay okay I admit I am a little behind on the post. Regardless I wanted to share how lovely they turned out! The kids and adults were so surprised to see the colors inside each bite. They raved over how good and moist they were too– thank you Betty Crocker!!

To make them you just follow the cake directions on the box.

Then separate the mix into their own bowls. I knew I wanted to do three colors, so I separated the mix into three bowls. Then I used food coloring to make my colored batter.

Layer the batter into the cupcake pan. I did purple, pink, and then blue.

Bake according to the box directions. Then remove from oven and allow to cool. Frost them then EAT them. I was (almost) more excited to see the layers than I was to eat the cupcakes.

Don’t they look delicious.. and beautiful? :)
