Poofy Cheeks: DIY Halloween Fabric Rag Wreath

DIY Halloween Fabric Rag Wreath

I have seen so many fabric wreaths and I love the look of them! I decided to try to make one with some scraps of Halloween fabric that I had in my fabric bin. I gathered up a roll of orange ribbon, some black tulle, and any black or orange fabrics that I had.

Then I went to Michaels in search of a wreath form, and to my surprise I found them in three sizes
I cut all of the fabrics into strips about a foot long and 1-2 inches wide. Normally I would use my rotary cutter to make straight lines, but since I knew these strips were going to be knotted onto the wreath I just used a pair of scissors. Then I sat down on the couch with my family and started knotting.

I knotted fabrics all the way around the form, and then used black ribbon to make a hanger. I love that the fabric is fraying and it has that rustic look to it. I can’t wait to make more of these. The best part is that it was done within an hour and super easy! No sewing, no gluing, just knotting!!
